1. Policy Scope & Service Description
This Privacy Policy applies exclusively to the operation and data protection of Kaelis Timer & Memo (hereinafter referred to as “Kaelis”), a lightweight dedicated countdown and memo recording tool. The core service of Kaelis allows users to create personalized countdown records, match descriptive text memos and attached scene photos, and store all content for real-time viewing and management. This policy clearly defines all data collection, storage, processing and protection rules during the use of the app. This is an independent privacy protection document that does not contain any user service agreement, liability dispute or legal judgment clauses.
By creating countdowns, editing text memos, uploading matching photos and viewing saved records within the app, you confirm that you have fully read, understood and voluntarily accepted all terms of this Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any content of this policy, you shall immediately stop using all functions of the application.
2. Age Qualification Restriction
Kaelis countdown and memo recording service is only accessible to users aged 18 and above. Personal countdown planning, memo text recording and accompanying photo archives belong to private personal life data, which require independent cognitive and judgment capabilities for standardized management and use. We strictly prohibit any individuals under the age of 18 from downloading, registering and using all functional services of this application.
The platform does not target minor users and will not actively collect or retain any data generated by minors. In the event that minor-related private content is accidentally obtained due to extreme technical failures, our team will complete thorough, irreversible and permanent deletion of all involved data within 24 hours. All privacy inquiries and problem feedback can be submitted through our official support email.
3. Data Processing Rules & Minimal Usage Principle
Kaelis strictly adheres to the privacy principles of legal compliance, necessity and minimal data processing. We only collect and process user data that is essential to support the app’s core countdown and memo functions. The only user-generated data processed by the platform includes manually created countdown task data, personalized memo text content, and auxiliary photos uploaded by users for matching countdown records.
All user memo content and countdown data are independently created and controlled by users. The platform only stores and displays user private content to meet the needs of real-time viewing and daily management. We will not actively analyze, mine or modify user memo text, countdown settings and matching photo content. Temporary cache files generated during content editing and preview will be automatically cleared after the operation ends without long-term retention.
We solemnly declare that Kaelis will never collect any sensitive non-essential private data, including user biometric information, geographic location, contact list, device identification code, payment information and browsing tracks. The application has no built-in background monitoring programs, behavior tracking tools and third-party data collection SDKs.
4. Exclusive Privacy Protection Mechanism
4.1 User Private Content Isolated Storage
All user-uploaded memo photos, edited text content and countdown record data are stored in encrypted and isolated dedicated space. Each user’s private content is physically separated to avoid cross-data access and confusion. The platform only provides basic storage and display functions, and all editing, viewing and deletion permissions of private content belong entirely to the user.
4.2 Zero Unauthorized Third-Party Data Sharing
All countdown records, memo texts and matching photos are personal exclusive private assets. This application does not integrate any third-party advertising, data analysis and content sharing interfaces. Under no circumstances will we sell, rent, share or transmit user private data to any external institutions, enterprises and individuals without explicit user authorization.
Data disclosure will only be carried out in accordance with mandatory legal requirements and valid official judicial documents issued by competent regulatory authorities.
4.3 Automatic Cache Cleaning Mechanism
During user content creation, editing and previewing, the system will generate a small amount of temporary cache data to ensure smooth operation. After the user exits the editing page or completes content saving, all residual cache files will be automatically and completely cleared in real time, leaving no private content traces.
4.4 Global Privacy Compliance
All data processing and storage behaviors of Kaelis fully comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and local personal privacy protection laws and regulations in all regions. We dynamically optimize data management rules to ensure long-term standardized and compliant operation of the platform.
5. Data Retention & Clearing Specifications
User countdown data, memo text and matching photos will be retained in encrypted storage space by default for users’ long-term viewing and management. Users can manually delete any private content at any time. After manual deletion, the platform will completely erase the corresponding data from all servers within 12 hours, and the deleted content cannot be recovered.
Anonymous system operation logs used for app stability maintenance and functional iteration do not involve any user private content and cannot locate individual users. Such logs will be automatically deleted within 30 days after collection.
6. User Data Autonomy Rights
Eligible adult users enjoy full independent autonomy over all personal private data in the app. Users can freely create, edit, view and delete countdown records and memo content; independently manage uploaded matching photos; refuse non-essential permission authorization; and consult platform data processing rules. Users can submit privacy consultation and feedback through the official support email, and we will respond to all valid user requests within 5 working days.
7. Policy Update Rules
We reserve the right to optimize and revise this Privacy Policy according to product function iteration, technical upgrade and updates of global privacy laws. The latest policy content and update date will be displayed on the app’s dedicated privacy page. The revised clauses will take effect immediately after publication. Continued use of the app’s countdown and memo functions after the policy update is deemed as acceptance of the latest privacy protection rules.
